I am always happy to hear when a person passes away that they knew the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior.  They have gone to a much more wonderful place than they left on this earth no matter of what their earthly riches were!
Have a wonderful day!

So why arent we all lining up to jump off a bridge?

Lemme simplify it.....

Psalm 37:29
The righteous will possess the earth,+
And they will live forever on it

I always try to remember the good times, but in the end I always feel sad because I miss them so much.

The song comes on the radio...the lyrics...are

Oh where o where can my baby be,the Lord took her away from me,shes gone to heaven so ive got to be good,so i can see my baby when i leave this world.

Pretty dumb song.Do you want to serve a god that brought this on?

The God of the bible is the true God and he doesnt work that way.Mankind had the prospect of living in paradise in a peaceful righteous world as long as he loved and obeyed his creator. We all know the story.A&E sinned after being deceived by a rebellious angel <Satan>

Death=dust....sleep not woken up from unless God resurrects us as Jesus did to Lazarus in 1 example and he did many more to show what Gods government <kingdom>will do.

Satan has blinded many in the name of religeon transforming himself into an angel of light. His intention is to bring as many down.He is Gods enemy.

Since my mother's death is still too fresh (ongoing 3 months on the 9th,) I'm still struggling. I know she wants me to be happy, so I think of the happier times with her and smile.

I miss her.

Very natural and normal to feel that way......there is a hope...

My Dad just died 2 weeks ago at age 91.  I am at peace even though it makes me sad.  I know he is free from the pain of the bone cancer.  I know he is whole in heaven.  I know he is happy as he is with Jesus and he is with my brother who has been gone for 20 years.
I smile when I remember both of them as I only bring up the good memories.

If you are a thinking human being, I think most people think of a love one pretty regularly.  I know I do.

Think of them often especially when things are wrong.  I really wish I had my mom to talk and get her advice one more time.

Yes, try and remember the good memories it helps to bring some closure and also kniw that they would not want me to remain in a state of sadness all the time.
