Flutterbys... cute.  I see butterflies quite often, but I believe the flowers and plants attract them among with the bees

We saw a bunch of butterflies last year.  Husband planted a bush that they were drawn too.  Although it was only one species.  A whitish yellow in color.  They were pretty and lush.  This year I didn't see nearly as many....we soon found out it was because the bush died.  Sigh!

I Love butterflies too! They are so pretty and delicate.
Many people believe butterflies are their deceased loved ones coming to say hello.
my friend thinks of her sister every time sh sees a butterfly! :rainbow: :rose: :peace:

Honestly flutterby makes even less sense to me.  But I don't give this sort of thing too much thought.  There are names for everything so that we can identify them.  This would be an endless conversation if we tried to make sense of all of them.

I love butterflies....in their many different colors, shapes and sizes.  I see them occasionally, hopefully I will see more during summer's hot days.   :rose: :rose: :rose: :rose:

. . . when it should be called a flutterby? Because that's what they do; right?

I don't see many anymore. I think they are disappearing.  :(

They sure fly gracefully in the air.

I live in Florida and have tons of butterflies. I watch them come and go all day. I don't know if they like my plants or what it is.

I don't know why they are called butterfly, but I hope they never disappear.  They are so beautiful and graceful.

They do seem to be appearing less than each year which never makes sense to me considering all the caterpillars around in the spring but maybe birds or something get to them so then never make it to the cocoon stage.
