I usually walk to any destination that is within my town. If I want to go into NYC, I take a couple trains and then a subway. If I want to visit my daughter in Boston, I take a bus. Whenever and wherever I can avoid using fossil fuels, I do it.

No trains (except freight cars) and no Uber where I live. Have to drive or take a long, long walk to get anywhere.

I drive everywhere that I go. I live in the Country and there is no paid transportation here.

I drive. When I lived in NYC, I'd take the subway everywhere. HATED IT! OMG, public transportation is the absolute worst. I'll occasionally take an Uber if I'm far away from my car or whatever, but it gets so expensive, I don't understand why anyone would do it regularly.

I have to drive. There really isn't much of a mass transportation system established in my city so I don't have the option to take the train or bus. Uber just isn't worth it either.

I usually drive or now I ride my bike. I just got it in the last week. I've ridden my bike 4 x's now. Drove once. Our town doesn't even have Uber or Lyft yet. There are a couple cab companies. I only used one once ... when my car broke down and I needed a ride the mechanics to pick it up. I wish it was nice out all the time. I'm really enjoying riding my bike. Makes me feel young again.

If I'm going into a city from my house I usually drive to the train station and take the trains/subways down. $1 to park, another $13 for an all day unlimited transportation pass beats the headache of driving down there and paying $20-$30 to park in a garage any day.
