What I think is funny is how the average American tends to think Hollywood stars (whether small screen or big) are these like immortal Gods so they tend to be shocked when something ordinary happens to them like a famous person going into a Starbucks.  I remember a photo of Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban with their arms loaded with Target bags.  Why would that be such a shock?  Just because people act (and get paid to do it) doesn't mean they aren't ordinary.  So, it doesn't surprise me someone snatched a purse.  She was just in the wrong place at the wrong time and someone considered her an easy mark.  I'm just wondering if they really knew whose purse they took when they stole it.  They might not have.  If they did, check ebay.

I think people get surprised because a big star would typically draw a lot of attention. I personally never saw a "big" star shopping. I remember seeing a local Boxer (who tried- and subsequently failed- to win the title) shopping with his girlfriend several years ago, but that's about it.

I never really understood why you would try to steal a celebrities belongings.  It just seems like a bad idea.  They have plenty of fans who would hunt you down, and unless they are carrying large amounts of cash, I doubt you'd get away buying anything with their credit cards.

                                                           Big market for stolen celeb memorabilia ,when it's stolen it's just more exciting,plus many women carrying purses get their purses stolen all over the world but this one's a celeb.Wait til Elton John gets mugged and they'll put up billboards all over Vegas for help.
