Sunscreen

Today, Monday, May 7, is Melanoma Monday.  Do you use sunscreen?  If so, how often?  What do you consider enough SPF?  If you don't wear sunscreen, why not?

Myself, I wear it anytime that I know ahead of time that I will be outside a lot.  That includes whether it is sunny or not.  Clouds don't stop those dangerous rays.   Truthfully, I don't spend large amounts of time outdoors usually but I need to remind myself to wear it anytime I will be out.

This is sad to me.  I'm not judging you by any means.  Our nation is sad.  Sunscreen is widely used yet skin cancer is all too common.

No, I don't ever wear it.  Check the ingredients in sunscreen.  There are known carcinogens in there.

But what else can be used to protect anyone against a sunburn?

I use sunscreen regularly as well. I burn easily and I hear it's a good anti wrinkle treatment. My daily moisturizer has SPF in it but I don't go out when the sun's at its brightest, usually.
