do you cook with Honey?

Here there's a honey festival this weekend. I love it on foods, really not easy to cook with it. I know about the pollination love flowers.

I love making banana nut bread with honey but that is all I have made with honey.  I bought my sister-in-law a honey cook book because she and her husband are bee keepers but I don't know if she tried any of the recipes.

not often as its expensive, I do add a little bit to my fresh buttermilk biscuit when it comes out of the oven, but thats like every 3 weeks maybe

Otherwise I would love to use it more

I have a few recipes that use honey.  I just made one with honey and soy sauce and chicken.  Very good.

I have put it in muffins I am baking occasionally.

I also put it on bread instead of butter or whatever, and enjoy it.

 Sometimes I will fry an egg in coconut oil, then put it on top of the honey bread.

Protein, goodness, low fat.

Interesting question.  I don't personally like honey, but I try to get it into my diet because it's healthy.  I have never thought about cooking with it though.

I normally use honey in my tea and sometimes on fried chicken, as in pouring a small amount on it before eating.

I sometimes us a little in my BBQ sauce, but mostly I bake cookies for my father with it instead of sugar. He is a diabetic .  Yes it is getting  expensive but am luck  to be able to buy it from a beekeeper. Still at $70.00 a gallon it is high, but it is pure and non pastureized with no other liquid added like a sweet syrup. But the cookies I make the recipe makes like 6 dozen so a cup used is not so bad. Freeze the cookies and dole them out a dozen at a time to him.

I don't cook a lot with it but we use it to mix with apple cider vinegar to take for health reasons.  I also mix it with lemon and hot tea for my kids when they have sore throats.  It works wonders!

No, I only use it in tea with lemon; never thought about trying to cook with it.

 The only thing I use honey in it is hot tea when my throat is very sore.
The only recipe I use honey in  are my  oatmeal peanut butter *bleep*.   I don't make them very often but it is a no bake recipe. One cup quick oats, half cup peanut butter, 1/3 cup honey . I also add chocolate chips and coconut flakes  and cinnamon. 
 Just mix Ingredients together, roll into *bleep* and enjoy!

I don't cook anything with honey. I actually don't like honey so I don't use it for anything.
