We've had Sprint for years.  Started out with Nextel because my husband's work gave them cell phones and it was Nextel.  When they joined with Sprint we had quite a few issues with coverage, especially at home.  Sprint worked with us and gave us an Air Wave at no charge.  Helped tremendously.  We have always had decent customer service with Sprint.  Have contacted them via twitter several times and they were always helpful.  They are a bit higher than some others so I'm hoping rates don't get higher.

Yes, I have Sprint, so I guess I'm gonna have T-Mobile soon. They're hyping "5G" in emails so either there will be a major advance in technology with this merger, or it's just a lot of hype.

Heard bad things about both companies so going to stick with Verizon.  Best service in my area and never experience any problems and also receive a discount thru my employer

I would love to have Verizon, but they're a bit expensive. Right now I have T-Mobile but not to happy they are ok. I was thinking of trying AT&T.

I think that means a merger if approved by FCC.  So many companies wants to become a monopoly, so they merge together to charge more money for the use of their services.

I have had At & T for Avery long time; it will be interesting to see how this merger affects everyone regardless of who our individual providers are; I am sure there will be all kinds of incentives to get people to switch. I have friends with sprint & they seem to like it; but I don’t think. I will be jumping on the bandwagon anytime soon; as I am sure there will be a catch down the road, will see how this all plays out for all of su.

I think this will be good (hopefully) because Sprint has had a bad rap for a while now! Horrible reception and angry customers! I only know because I assisted with customer support for Sprint.

I used to have Sprint Nextel years ago, switched to AT&T - was too expensive, switched back to Sprint, and the service was terrible. The 4G network was dropping for weeks at a time and the phone signal was only available in the city, as soon as I left the city limits, nothing. I considered T-Mobile, but went with Verizon instead. So far Verizon has been great. I wonder if merging will make Sprint's service better or T-Mobile's worse.

If you're happy with Verizon or AT&T, I'd stick with what you are happy with. Overall, I have very few complaints about Sprint so I don't see myself changing cell providers, in spite of the merger.

I use Ting, which is on T-Mobile towers and only costs me about $25 a month for both my wife and I. I hope it doesn't go up if they merge. What makes me happy is when I get a referral, we each get $25 off our bill.

If everyone continues to merge, we will be back to one company again.  I see the patterns with banks, phone carriers etc.

I have had Sprint for twenty one years now. I have had a couple of issues through the years which were handled very well and their customer service is what keeps me with them. Also being grandfathered into a plan which I really like. I hope this merger is not going to change things. I am going to be optimistic and say that it will not.
