I think Winter has truly gone....

The last of the snow has melted.  The temperatures have been climbing nicely this week.
The forecast is for plenty of SUNSHINE!  I am so ready for this.  59 degrees today and heading to the 70s next week.

Winter can be sneeky.  That's why I never plaint anything until mother's day because you can always get that late frost which can kill plants.

It has been cool for us this year. We have and outside heater and we have just let it go out on Thursday it has been so cool here.

It has still been pretty cold in the mornings but by late after noon we have been climbing, this coming week it will now hit the 80's all week. We just went from winter to summer again. Had a fire in the wood stove 2 days last week and now it will be time to put the AC's in, but not yet. We never put them in until about mid May or later and just use fans around the house and windows that are shaded. Works great.

A few minutes ago, my husband was reading the weather forecast to me and it called for frost in a couple of counties just north of us.  Our cold weather plants are thriving, but it's rough on plants that like warm temperatures.

In my area it also appears Spring is here to hopefully stay.  Temperatures have been in the high seventy's and weather has been beautiful.

Been chilly here. but let see, early spring time flowers are all gone and cut down and all my trees are all burst with their leaves and that means they are alive yes. My snowball tree made it.

I wish the winter was not gone. I don't like the type of heat we get in the summer where I live. It has been getting in the 80's already here. By the ending of next month we will be in the 90's.

It's been pretty nice here in New York as well however, it still gets chilly after the sun goes down. I'm looking forward to permanent rising of temperatures as we approach summer.

I feel for everyone up north, but don't think it was a picnic here in Florida either! I had plants die and even at the end of February when I planted my tomatoes and peppers, I had a couple freeze! I thought they were goners, but I keot watering them and they made a comeback!

It might just be time for a quick spring, for a fast time to summer. Since winter lasted longer this year. Enjoy the warmer temperatures! Springs a pretty time of the year!
