Another Severe Weather Alert - I'm glad I haven't put my winter boots away yet!

Just when most of our snow has melted......we get another Winter Weather Advisory for today

Forecast says:  Moderate snow and light mixed precipitation expected.
Total snow accumulations of 4 to 7 inches and ice accumulations
of a light glaze are expected.

.Plan on difficult travel conditions.
Winds gusting as high as 35 mph will cause patchy blowing and
drifting snow.

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while
driving. The latest road conditions for the state you are calling
from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.

Some years the weather doesn't get better for months after the new year has started. I wait to put my heavy clothes out of the way for the lighter wear. Getting snow would be frustrating at this time of the year though. Try staying warm with those boots!

It spit snow here all day Saturday, glad none of it stayed.

Winter is dragging out - eager for Spring to arrive.

Blame the ground hog !!      emerging from its burrow and sees a shadow due to clear weather, it will retreat to its den and winter will persist for six more weeks, and if it does not see its shadow because of cloudiness, spring will arrive early.

I keep getting sick because of this crazy weather. One day it is hot and the next day it is cold.

Severe weather bringing golf to baseball-sized hail and potential tornadoes rolled in on us Friday in North Texas.  It's that time of year again!  Torrential rain, high winds, power lines down, the usual for this area.  Then temps fell into the 30s barely getting into the 40s for the high Saturday!!  Crazy, huh?

No snow where I am but it's still cold didn't get past 50.  I was going to wear my boots today but didn't.

I just rode thru the West Virginia this weekend and saw snow on the mountains but the streets were clear and that's the way I like it.
