How do you compare to the best ?

  I was  coming home after grocery shopping yesterday and noticed a poor lil earthworm in the street,now most(like you) wouldn't care,I put my groceries down,picked up the lil guy and found a safe area where he could dig and not be run over by a vehicle,eaten by a bird,stepped on,melted,drowned...

Sweet as that sounds, where I come from we gather a bunch off of parking lots and go fishing ! Them little worms land big old pan fish and they are pretty good beer battered with fries ! One of the stores I shop, after a rain the parking lot's covered in night crawlers A friend and I go get them at 6am before it opens.

That was a nice thought. We could all use a little more empathy in the world toward each other and toward all living things. A friend of mine went to some trouble to rescue a bumble bee from a pool when we were younger. Some children laughed, but I knew I made a great friend who was that gentle and caring.

Question for you ?  How do you figure you're the BEST ?  for helping a worm to safety ?  And liver , fish and bananas ?  YIKES  you need fiber ... no wonder you talk about BM's !     really get some celery or bran flakes !

Awh...IFY....worms are animals too. one good deed     Did you know that earth and red worms are gr8 foods of the frog they keep the worm population down, but not blood worms because frogs swallows food whole at times, and the blood worms stay alive than bites and eats the frog from the inside out! You have a gr8 day, it is Happy Frog Day.

Yeah we use the worms to go fishing also. Worms are also good  for the composting pile. So I have some there too.  But like others I believe in  doing more for our fellow  humans in need. I enjoy my volunteer work where we give out free groceries to those in need, also free 5 articles of clothing per person in their family a week. We are small and in a small town and wish we could do even more. But like those who come to us say if it were not for us they would go hungry some times. Right now our average weight of food is 25-50 lbs. a month.  May not seem much to some people but to them it is.
