Subtle joke from The Rifleman TV show
« on: March 31, 2018, 09:56:46 pm »
So I watch The Rifleman on Saturday mornings on AMC and in this episode he meets his new neighbor from Argentina having a ranch next to him.  Lucas is introduced to his neighbor's wife and his brother when the wife interrupts with a comment to which his neighbor asks Lucas what month does a woman talk the least? He tells a wondering Lucas, February lolololol Great joke on TV in the 60's 8) :peace:

Love that show so much and Chuck Connors,I recorded all but 1 ep. to dvd from Encore Western. And that's such a truth,I know this woman Kathy and she'll call me on the phone and it begins( I just put my phone on speaker and do a lot of " yeah" " Got ya") at the end I know mt phone will record 25 plus mins. of time)  And it'd 90 percent of the same stuff over and over again.

Really loved the show when Peggy Castle joined the cast, saddens me when I read about her life of alcohol abuse. She was a beautiful and interesting lady who should have lived decades longer w/o any suffering. She was  a casualty of Hollywood  just like Marilyn Monroe years earlier and  and countless since whether adults or children whether male or female.

I love Gun Smoke along with the others and Bonanza too! Old West stuff was pretty cool!

I love the Rifleman. I also loved to watch Bonanza as Michael Landon was my favorite actor when I was growing up.
