you're right, noticed lower counts on baggies and shorter lengths on aluminum foil and plastic wraps too

Why don't you just sacrifice one of your children  in exchange for Dollar Tree size increases ? I'm sure Bobby is worth the bag size.

A lot of manufacturers are cutting the size of their products instead of raising the prices.  You are still paying more for it when you are getting less than what you use to pay for.
Have a wonderful day!

I have noticed that my local dollar tree doesn't sell half the things it used to. Either that or they are just always out.

I've noticed it too but those big bags of chips are really just filled with air, I guess to keep the chips fresh!

Dollar Tree still has some good finds though. They had Rachel Ray dinnerware at mine for $1 a piece. Can't beat that price!! I usually treat myself to one salty snack when I go there -- popcorn or potato chips. If I go to the grocery store, I pay like $4. Even with a bigger quantity, it's not worth it.  Also, their cleaning supplies can't be beat, and they have the cheapest kitty litter in my area. :)

I used to buy snacks at dollar tree but stopped for the reason that they did cut down on the amount in the package. One thing I do buy is greeting cards. some you get 2 for $1.00 :)

It seems all products are getting smaller and the prices are the same or slightly higher. If they kept the same size product and jacked the price up people may not buy it.

I don't shop there enough to have noticed that and the few things I may run in to pick up from there like cleaning products have remained the same; I wonder if it's them or the companies  who manufacture the products? In this day and age everything seems so expensive we really have to look around to be a savvy shopper.
