Let's all recycle!!!

How many of you currently recycle or are thinking about it?

We've been recycling for years.   It's easy to do and I feel like it's the least I can do as a consumer.

We do as much as we can, just wish we had a recycle plant near by or our  town had a recycle plan.  We  try to not  put anything thing the dumpsters that we can recycle. Even to our  veggie leaves and food stuff  that will be used in compost for the garden.  we won't even buy one of those  fancy coffee makers that have the little cups to make single coffee cups. Even if you only have  1 coffee every day per year that is 365  little cups in the land fill. But when you drink more then one cup as hubby does it really adds up, plus it is expensive.  He sometimes drinks as may as 7 cups.

Just an FYI, with the Keurig coffee maker you can purchase a separate little piece that you can use your ground coffee in and make a cup.  I was given one of those coffee makers as a gift and I, like you, did not want to use the pods for the same reason, that's a lot of unnecessary trash.   I was told about the gadget and got one.  Loved it, especially I'm the only one in my house that drinks coffee.

If you don't recycle and also donate everything you can then you're garbage

Always recycle have a bin just for glass,paper,cans. We save our coke cans for money. Have alot  my son keeps forgett8ng to take them. Some people compost don't do that .

me and my girl recycle all the time you would be amazed how many people just throw them out

I recycle aluminum, scrap metal, and wires. My motive is not completely altruistic as I get paid money for those items and consider it one of my streams of income. I am generally the first person in the office and the last one to leave so I usually grab about twenty aluminum cans between Monday and Friday. Each can is worth about a penny in Colorado. I aim to pick up every can that I come across in the neighorhood unless I think my act would embarass my family. Monday is trash day and I keep an eye out, when walking the dogs at four in the morning, for anything that might be recycled. If the POTUS implements tariffs the price of aluminum, and scrap profits, will go up for me. So will the price of many things in America but I do not buy anything so I will be unaffected. I think that there is too much opposition to the broad tariff plan to get my hopes up.

I do recycle as much as possible.

I also tried taking my garbage to a compost bin for a while. It was fun making dirt, but I don't have enough garden to use it all so I'm giving that up for now.

I am a recycling zealot.  We have a recycling bin which is picked up every other week.  Its always full of paper, aluminum, glass, plastic, whatever is recyclable, we recycle.
