You would have to make on average $1.64 a day from December to November to have reached the $600 and get a tax paper in the mail.

I start at December because of you cash out in December you get your money the next year and would be counted in the next years taxes.

I never have to worry about that.

I don’t think I’ll ever make 50 a month I would have to save up from July to November cash in December and maybe I could do that in a year and a half              Call you "The Tax Man" which was a kickin song by The Beatles

With RadioLoyalty not working and the toolbar searches not available, getting that far is pretty far fetched to me. But if you settle for just that paid e-mails and the forum bonus, that's a pretty good way of sort of relaxing about doing this too much. I've been there before, sort of in and out of getting tired of doing surveys......but I do come back, and its a great refferance of exposure to do some research on the things available out there.

I never make enough to have to worry about taxes. :o  But the little bit that I do make sure comes in handy :) :)

Same here - I don't have enough time nor interest in reaching the $600

I have never made $600 in the year and I cash our every 6 months ( February and August). I think the most I made in one year was almost $200. Did anyone get January and February monthly in one shot? I forgot I did not receive it last month..lol. Oh well, hope all is well. :)

This seems to be one of the first questions people ask when I tell them about making a few dollars online.  It seems my answer doesn't have them convinced.  Very few have signed under me.  Guess I'm not much of a saleswoman.  None the less there was a time I thought I would have to file.  I didn't do anything but survey sites for a few years.  I was spread among so many I never did have to file anything with a single one.

LOL I have to watch how much I earn on this site.  If I'm at risk of getting a 1099, I have to wait until the year changes to cash out. I got a 1099 for 2017 jury duty earnings of $760.  I was like  :o how can the state tax it's own money?  Why didn't they just compensate me less in the first place?  And guess how much tax they wanted me to pay? $41.00!  That's a tax rate of about 5%, which makes no sense for such a small amount earned.  I paid less taxes on $1200 that I earned from my part-time job in 2016 - only $5.00.  And I got a $5.00 tax refund so it's like I paid no taxes at all.

I just started working on another money website that I could easily exceed $600 per year with.  I wonder if they send 1099s?  I don't see it in their FAQ section.  They pay out in Bitcoin, so does that make my earnings untaxable? Bitcoin's value changes constantly so am I taxed on the value my Bitcoins had when I got them?  I am definitely going to do research on that so I'll be fully informed as to whether or not I owe Uncle Sam anything.

My other money websites pay in the form of gift cards, so is that considered earning money or just getting free gift cards?  Not that I'll ever get more than $600 in free gift cards within a year, but it's good to know.

All of my sites together is definitely going to exceed $600 in 2018, no doubt about that.  But I'm pretty sure the government goes by individual employers (websites) that give you more than $600 a year.  If you got less than $600 from a website, it doesn't count towards your total income. I agree, Snuggleycutejc, Fusion Cash is the best of all.

If you make over $600 in a year you are suppose to report it. If I made more than $600 for my crochet shop I would have to report that. Although because I have a main job that I have taxes taken out it wouldn’t affect me as much.

WHY would PayPal send you a 1099? They are not paying you.  They cannot make you pay taxes on the amount of money that is funneled thru their site.

"Suppose" to report it.  If you are working yourself for cash then most likely that will not be reported. Like in my town where there are 500 lawn mowing businesses.  These sites WILL send you a 1099 which means they also will file it with the government so if you do not report it on your end then they will find out.

The gift cards are also considered income. NO it is not just FREE money.

I can't find the comment you replied to. But no all the sites are not added together. It's like each job you work - your income from job one is the income from that job only. And income from another job is separate.  People make things too complicated.

Sometimes I wonder if somebody found an envelope stuffed with cash and they decided to keep that if they would report it to the government as income lol

I actually made $3,500 one year but only got 1099'd for two of them...the rest were so spread out on other sites that I didn't hit $600 on the rest but still made decent coinage!  8)
