LOL I have to watch how much I earn on this site. If I'm at risk of getting a 1099, I have to wait until the year changes to cash out. I got a 1099 for 2017 jury duty earnings of $760. I was like

how can the state tax it's own money? Why didn't they just compensate me less in the first place? And guess how much tax they wanted me to pay? $41.00! That's a tax rate of about 5%, which makes no sense for such a small amount earned. I paid less taxes on $1200 that I earned from my part-time job in 2016 - only $5.00. And I got a $5.00 tax refund so it's like I paid no taxes at all.
I just started working on another money website that I could easily exceed $600 per year with. I wonder if they send 1099s? I don't see it in their FAQ section. They pay out in Bitcoin, so does that make my earnings untaxable? Bitcoin's value changes constantly so am I taxed on the value my Bitcoins had when I got them? I am definitely going to do research on that so I'll be fully informed as to whether or not I owe Uncle Sam anything.
My other money websites pay in the form of gift cards, so is that considered earning money or just getting free gift cards? Not that I'll ever get more than $600 in free gift cards within a year, but it's good to know.
All of my sites together is definitely going to exceed $600 in 2018, no doubt about that. But I'm pretty sure the government goes by individual employers (websites) that give you more than $600 a year. If you got less than $600 from a website, it doesn't count towards your total income. I agree, Snuggleycutejc, Fusion Cash is the best of all.
