I usually buy enough bread to eat for 2 weeks. But if it will take longer to eat, it will be refrigerated.

Well guess I'll put mine in the fridge now. Always keep it out and yeah by the time you get to the last few slices it's green lesson learned.

I only put it in the fridge if its near the due date just to make it last a bit longer.

I keep it the frig as we really do not eat that much bread.  I always try to buy the 1/2 loaves.  They cost a little more but at least I am throwing it out.

I keep bread in the fridge since we don't eat it quickly.

I put it in the freezer as soon as I come from the store and just take it out as needed.  I don't eat much bread but mom likes a chicken salad sandwich every day.

It definitely does lose some of its taste by keeping it in the refrigerator, but I find it just gets stale too easily otherwise. So I always put it in the refrigerator to prevent that from happening. It's worse if it gets moldy too fast.

Liver Derchie: You are right- "Do not eat bread".
It is made of flour and other dangerous chemicals.
Do not eat junk food. Try to drink and eat nutritious
snacks and meals. Protect your health.

I handle bread differently based on the kind of bread it is.  I buy a loaf of bread every other day on average for my family of 4.  2 adult men go through a lot of sandwiches in my household.  I only make a home cooked dinner 1 or 2 nights a week (average) as I work full time and I'm not home most nights.  Sandwich bread get's eaten so fast we just keep a loaf on top of the fridge.  When I get a deal on it I'll freeze a loaf or two.  Same goes for more expensive bread.  Than the night before I'll take 2-4 pieces out to thaw in tupperware for next day prep.  Bakery bread is very much the same way... although I tend to only buy rolls and such rather than loaves for the sake of serving convenience.

We keep our bread on the counter.  My husband usually eats the loaf before it gets stale or molds.
Have a wonderful day!

I put my bread in the bread box.  If I haven't eaten it all in a week, I move it to the fridge to keep it safe from mold.

Do you keep your bread in the refrigerator or in a breadbox on the counter ???    I hear it gets mold faster at room temperature...but goes stale faster in the refrigerator. :-\

Depends on the temperature in your house. It was meant to keep at room temperature.  It does last longer in the refrigerator but it gets harder.  I do both ways.
