Nothing said about Florida Shooting

Okay. Does anyone see the connection between taking God out of our schools and the violence we are experiencing now. Just my opinion, but it seems quite a coincidence, doncha think?

After all, we seem to be cultivating young people with a belief in their rights, without the accompanying responsibilities.

We used to do an air raid drill when i was in elementary school in the early 60s.When the horn sounded we sat against a wall with out arms over our necks and head.Some kind of prayer was in the schools back then.

Nuclear war was in the air in those days.....i never saw anyone mention the where is god in the schools then.

2 cities were wiped out by an atom bombs.And the problem with gun violence is god isnt in the schools.

The spiritual sickness in this world is beyond comprehension.

feel so bad for those  who lost children and families in the shooting, no one should lose  loved ones that way, Yes  when God was taken out of schools  it hurt our children, but  when you see  all  of the violent movies being made by movie stars that the kids idolize, the  violent  vides,  no respect being taught anymore, the morality is shot in our country also.  The same movie stars who are  running their mouths off about  gun control along with the congress men and women all have armed body guards are hipocrates .  When my  boys grew up they knew what a gun could and would  do if someone should fire it at someone or something, But now the children are so different and  not displined at all.

It was all preventable had pathetic indifference been avoided,he didn't keep  it all hidden and everyone around him just ignored the ticking timebomb,then it detonated.Wonder if anyone who heard his rants and ignored him was killed ?

Plenty of people reported his behavior. The FBI and the Sheriff decided to ignore those warnings.

As for teachers with guns - the idea is ONLY teachers that volunteer to carry and/or only those teachers who have lots of experience with guns would be allowed to carry them in a school.  I'm not sure about that idea. There needs to be a little more "study" on other schools with gun-carrying teachers. i do think it would discourage shooters if teachers were armed.

You sell weapons at school and don't get arrested so that you can later kill 17 ppl ?  Everyone with knowledge of these happenings is responsible. It was all preventable

Nobody needs a assault riffle. But everyone has the right to protect themselves. REMEMBER: guns don't kill people, people kills people.

I don't think the government cares about stopping these situations from happening.  Guns have been around since the beginning of this country.  So why is this a new issue?  It's the mental state of these individuals.  The key is what is causing it and how we avoid it.  Seems simple to me but I can't control the trillion dollar industry that is doing this.  Keep forcing prescriptions down our kids throats and sit back and watch this get nothing but worse.

All different religeons in school when god was supposedly there.So who is God?Also there were wars going on and plenty of violence too when cities were burning over racial injustice.Assassinations happened.Vietnam...etc.

Jesus defined what the last day would be like.And from 1914 to the present its EZ to see we are living in that time.We might be able to stop an incident from happening or maybe some laws can make it tougher to get guns......but bottom line is this world will only get worse until God decides its time to end this satanice system.

Knowing that can help us cope and the hope of God doing something about it can help as well.But when a loved one,friend or us are involved it doesnt make it less sad either.We need to pray to Jehovah in Jesus name for strength.

Hello!

There was recently a shooting in a church so I don't think the school not having God in it have anything to do with the shooting. I do hope that one day all this pain goes away and we all can live in harmony, have a blessed day everyone.

They freed a criminal Barabbas over Jesus and then executed Jesus who proved beyond a doubt he was Gods son and represented his father.

Also when i went to school religeous instruction existed.Sadly it wasnt truth being taught.

Making others aware God exists means nothing.The bible says even demons believe.
