Any Pogo Members?

I stopped visiting the Pogo gaming site for over 5 years due to the nastiness of people on there. I mean, you have some seriously messed up people who have nothing better to do than figure out the glitches in games to mess with you.

I am not letting them stop me from having a good time this time around. But some of these people are absolutely horrible. They do not care about having fun, about winning honestly, and I do not understand these types of people.

If someone beats me honestly, you will not hear one complaint. In fact, it encourages me to try harder to beat that person the next time.

Then, on top of this, you have so many armchair politicians who spew the most ignorant opinions.

I have GOT to learn to keep chat off. This was supposed to be fun for me.

Throw a bunch of adults into a gaming area, add alcohol, and you get a bunch of raging idiots.

I play on Pogo.....I always play by myself or against robots.......I've never encountered a problem.  I've heard that some players can be rude though.  I think they feel that if you can't see them that they can say anything they want LOL.
I don't think people chat as much as they used to.

I go on there and play Scrabble, I don't interact with people, I play with the robots.

I use to use Pogo all the time to play games, but now I play all the games I want on Facebook.  I like Facebook better because you don't have to put up with nasty people.

Haven't been on there awhile....used to play games and just turn off comments...bunch of weirdos on there sometimes.....

I still have an account on there. Haven't played since December though. I don't go as much as I used to. There are also horny/pervs on there. I don't really care for chatting on there but seems like all they want is to chat. And talk about sexual stuff. Not into that at all.

I use to play pogo but have not played in quite a while. Yes, I did play with some rude people who helped me decide not to play. Did play with the robots for a while. However, I do like to chat with people when I play games. Now I just play other games with my relatives and close friends. No more strangers for me because you just never know how they going to act.

I am glad to know that it's not just me. I tend to be very sensitive, and I have no tolerance for crap.

And pervs? The women are surprisingly as pervy as the men. They will come up with the most sexual screen names.

The only reason I don't play with bots is because I LOVE both High Stakes Poker, and No Limit Texas Hold 'Em, and the bots are too easy to beat. They will bet high on a pair of twos.

Gamesville used to be a great site that paid out real money. I once won almost 5,000 there, and they paid me within a month, but it was sold, and now, there are no payments of any kind for anything.

They also took the blog feature away where you could not only talk to other members, but you got regular blog entries and help from the managers.

It was wonderful for a while.

Now, it's probably just like Pogo, but with a lot less games. I do play there occasionally.

I used to visit Pogo all the time.  I still have an account there, but rarely visit any more.  I do not remember any people being rude.  It's got some good games. I will have to stop by and play a few!

Wow, that site takes me back.  It was fine, but didn't get much used of it.
