How many friends do you think you have?

I have several close friends, but as you get older it can sometimes be painful and surprising to realize that some people really are not your friends as you had once thought.  I guess people have different ideas of what a friend or a close friend is?  Sometimes too, it seems people do not socialize as much as they used to and keep more to themselves.

Really good friends are very rare. Not counting ones that are related to me, I'd say 2 really good ones.

I spend all my time with my boyfriend. He seems to be one of the very few people I can find who aren't annoying.

you can have friends that you see and say hi and bye but to have actually friends that you can count on and trust thats kinda hard.  i say friends that i can truly count on is around 6-10.

Hard to tell which are true friends and which are not.  I am constantly surprised by hearing from someone whom I had thought forgot all about me.  Seems I pick up a new friend every couple of years and lose touch with one or two....but it is a small world and they often come back into my life.   Pretty cool huh?
