Does anyone else have a co-worker who is so "out there" that they disrupt the entire office?  I do and it can be quite trying.  We never know if the good person or the wacko person will show up for work.  We work in a bullpen-like environment and everyone can hear everything this person says -- on the bad days this person is so loud that the rest of us cringe.  Management has done what they can, but I think it is a mental health issue, so they must tread lightly.....OY VEY, wonder what today will bring!

Yes.  She was high functioning autistic and a snitch and she recently quit and I'm glad she's gone.

I've worked with a few ppl in my life that I didn't feel their elevator went all the way to the top floor.  Most of them were just too emotional to be in a work environment of any kind.

I do not see why they need to "tread lightly".  If the person is a mental case then they need to either be locked up for the safety of everyone around.  I think there are people like that every where.

I do not believe in the oh they have autism so let's excuse their behavior.  We actually had that conversation at work today.  Someone attacked another person (not at work) and a co-worker said well maybe they are autistic.  Well if being autistic makes you randomly violent then you need to be locked up to protect others in the world around you.  We have two in our office that are snitches.  One I think is worse than the other.  She tells on everyone and cannot get along with anyone.

I feel like a lot of this is put on.  If you play your cards right you can sit at home and draw a crazy check and you don't have to work.  People need to grow the heck up and realize the world doesn't revolve around them. And you have to work with other people whether you like them or not. Just do your job and let them do theirs. Put in your hours and then go home.

I've worked with people like this on a couple of occasions. The worst is having a cray cray boss.

I used to have co-workers who were a little wack-a-dilly.  Then I left the corporate job scene.  My husband and I are self employed and have been for a number of years. 

Don't get me wrong, we do have our share of issues but those problems do not compare to the constant, every day, nonsense of trying to deal with the same people every day.

If we have a client who is problematic, it is just a matter of a very short time when they are our client no more.  Once we get them set up with their product, it's on to the next joker.

"Cray" is  short for crazy...... CrayCray is really crazy!

Is the profile picture you have your real picture? Cause I think we may be co-workers. lol  Well most of mine are basically sane anyway. haha  We have a ton of tattle-tales.  They strain their ears to hear something they can run and report.
