Suggestions on how to handle a bully

Being bullied when I was very young.  Another girl on the bus was bullying everyone on the bus, but when she tried to do the same to me, I looked her in the face and said just try hitting me or anything else I will knock you out the bus window. You have to face up to bullies or they will not stop.  You also have do the same with Adults.

Oh, I love this answer. Let them know you're not afraid of them. Take some self-defense classes if you're not strong enough right now. If you know, and they think, you can knock their blocks off, they'll lose some of their power over you.

lol.  Self defense classes?  You cannot hit a co-worker for being a jerk.  I am not afraid of her.  She is just an A-hole.  She doesn't get along with anyone in the building.  And she complains about every one.  She has not spoke directly to me in about 5-6 weeks except for one time.  She jumped on me and I flew right back at her and she couldn't handle it.
