Born and raised in New Jersey.   Moved south over 35 years ago.  Lived in North Carolina for quite a few years but have been in the Upstate of South Carolina for over 20 years now.

jwkelly, where in northern NJ do you live? I am from Massachusetts but have lived in northern NJ for the past 43 years.
I am really happy here. Unlike CA, we don't have huge wildfires, earthquakes or mudslides so I feel pretty safe here in general.

Born in  New Mexico, lived most of  my young life here, a little stint in Texas then  to Ohio. Back to New Mexico. Truly the Land of Enchantment. We  have a little of everything here. deserts, mountain, lakes and lots and lots of sunshine. But now at 74  the only place I want to live is here but do enjoy visiting other places.

Born and raised in LA. After my children were grown and out of school moved to a small southern rural part of MS. Grown children followed and live nearby which makes me happy that my grandchildren are being raised in the country. Living with a large lake in my back yard and loving every minute of it. Do not plan on moving anywhere.
