The tid pod challenge really. upsets me. These kids have way better things to do, plus, detergent is expensive. it shouldn't be consumed!

Well, they are definitely not toys and not to play with. They are for laundry purposes.

     Nothing new!
Kids think many things are candy.
     And try to digest it.

TIDE has tried different packaging methods and approaches.
Just keep the TIDE pods away from kids.

I don't think that anyone should be asking for such a challenge of this kind because that is not ok for people nor children to eat Tited at any point of time we already have kids trying to put things in there moths at you get older

Just insane,  other than being a way to charge more for less I see no point to pods,  it really is not that hard to measure detergent plus then you can adjust for the load size

Maybe they mistook the products for cookies or candy.

You have got to be kidding!  The Tide pods do not look like cookies or candy.  People are just stupid.

I have seen stuff that's just plain stupid that the kids of today do...  as in run over the top of a car (a friend is driving at them slowly )  But then again , skate boarding down hand railings really isn't that safe.  I got it figured we just hear more these days because of the internet.  And as a kid me now almost being 60,  50 years ago we just had the local tv channels and really didn't hear much about people far away... plus back then kids doing stupid stuff got them a trip to behind the wood shed.   :glasses-nerdy:  :glasses-nerdy:

It doesn't have a lot to do with the internet. People in general are more stupid. Yes the internet allows stuff like the challenges to get out to people and people can video them selves being stupid and put it online.  But I don't think it is just we hear it more.  People really are more stupid.  And people will do anything to get a high.

OMG I haven't heard about that... in these cases though I ask myself.... where are the parents? How would not a kid (grown enough to challenge another one) not know what Tide Pods are and that swallowing that can kill you?

What do you mean where are the parents?  You cannot watch a kid every minute of every day.  How freakin hard would it be to get a Tide Pod and put it in your pocket and then put it in your mouth when you are in your room alone or the bath room or where ever.  They know it is dangerous.  They don't care.

They know it is not candy.  Don't excuse the stupid.  They know what it is and they know what they are doing.  It does not even remotely look like candy.

I sometimes think the kids now are just a little  dumb. Why would anyone put a pod of soap In your mouth when you know it stupid and dangerous.
I am so glad I grew up in the  40's to the 60's, I can never remember doing something that stupid just because someone dared me. Me made our own fun and  could be out until almost dark or when our parents hollered for us to come in.  I think we so much healthier then they are now and in some ways smarter.

I have to admit I did the passout thing when I was a kid, but it scared me and I quit.
