I used to get an email everyday from a free sample site. Got a bunch of samples from shampoo to cat food.One day last week she said she was done with the sample site going back to her blog. Ive been trying other sites not much luck. have to keep looking.Fun to get those in the mail.

I love getting free samples. I wish I had known about the site you have been getting free samples from before it closed down, because most of the other sites are extremely info-hungry and spammy. Let us know if you find another great free sample site. Thank you!

There is a freebie site on Reddit where people report free stuff opportunities...  I've gotten some freebie stuff from there.
Kind of fun to get freebies, yesterday I got a carnation breakfast drink package & the day before I got one tea bag... just one!  lol

I love free stuff and take advantage when I can.  There are plenty of different places on the internet you can go to get them.  Just put in  "free Stuff"  and many places will come up

Sounds cool, although I've signed up for a few such things before and one way or another I have never wound up receiving anything.

I prefer getting free money or gift cards so I can choose what I want to get. The BIG exception is going to COSTCO and eating all the free samples with no strings attached. Most visits qualify as LUNCH!

I just had to get on this thread again to respond to oldbuddy! Yes, I love going to Costco around lunchtime and getting all the free samples of stuff I think I'll like! Usually the samples are pretty delicious! I think it must be fun being a sample person and fixing the food in the little toaster oven and giving it out to the crowd around you. Who I feel sorry for is the sample people over in front of the house cleaning supplies who have to actually chant a sales pitch to get people to even see them and what they're hawking!

I have not done the free sample thing in a long time.  For the past 8 years when the economy was so bad that pretty much stopped.  I don't know that it will start up again like it use to be.  I use to get full sized products as samples.  And the products you tried in product testing were more available.  I got good samples for about 10 plus years.  Now most of the free sample sites like the newsletter you described it is just junk or you don't get anything free.  You have to pay to sign up for something.

Any time you order a free sample you are opening yourself up for spam.  I fell for one a long time ago and after investigating found I had given my info (name and address) to someone in another country.

I love getting free samples in the mail. Not sure where to find a site but a few months ago I got a full size package of Tide pods. I just have no idea when or if I ever signed up for it.

I was getting them too and noticed that they stopped.  Didn't think about but know I know why.  Thanks for the information and all ways to still find other ways to obtain free samples
