Roommates!!

Do any of you live with a roommate? I currently live with one roommate and would like a 2nd one. Any tips on websites to use to find a roommate? I have such trouble paying for my house, but the income from my roommate has prevented me from losing the place.

I know a guy who advertises for roommates frequently in the local  online classifieds. He has 2 roommates all the time and all have locks on their room doors so there are trust issues.

I don't currently have a roommate but really could use one to help with my high mortgage.  The problem would be finding someone to trust.

No roommate but I always thought about getting one, just that it's hard to find someone you trust.

Not now but I have in the past.  Try roommates.com or craigslist.  If you happen to love in Brooklyn let me know I have a friend looking to move.  She's moved three times since June because of crazy roommates.

There are times i wish  i had a room mate and times im glad i don't have one. To be honest id probably kick the person out in the first week of coming here its not easy to put up with people in general for me

We have for 10 years now. Me and my husband own a 5 bedroom house. His paralyzed friend with no family lives us for 10 years. We take good care of him and thank God we don't have issues.

I did many years ago right after I left Home.  Things were different then, now I would be scared.  I know most people are nice, but there are some nuts out there too.

No, my daughter is my only roommate.

No, I have never had a roommate other then when I was in undergrad school many,  many  years ago and lived on campus; during my full time working years never had one, I had heard so many horror stories I just struggled through by myself; now I guess my roommate is my husband!

I moved into a large 3 bedroom house to help my niece out as she and the former roommate had signed a  year lease on the house and the room mate left and went back home and since I was moving I said  I would take over the half of the lease the room mate left her with. Well that included the utilities also. No biggie I had a good job. Boy was that a mistake.  Thank god I  had put most of my furniture in storage. She had 3 cats and would go into my room with a door shut and then the cats would go in and sleep on my bed. Why she did it??? I would get on to her about leaving the sprinklers on  when she would go to work and after the second time we got a ticket and I refuse to pay half of it.  She did a couple of other times. She got more tickets .  Boy when her lease was up I was out of there. couldn't take her attitude and the  cats. any longer of course there was a lot of other stuff just state a couple.
