The "say thanks" link!

Have you ever paid attention to the many subtle ways that make FusionCash more interesting? They don't always stand out and shout, "Hey, I'm here to make this site more entertaining," but they accomplish the purpose, nevertheless.  One such subtlety is the "say thanks" link.  It appears to the left of each post under the poster's name, the number of posts by the author, and the number of times he/she's been thanked.  It's a little thing, but it's really cool to get thanked, and it makes you feel like you are helping others, and writing information that they can take and use.  Next time you appreciate somebody's post, give that link a "click" and show your gratitude for a post well written!

Yes, a nice touch, I have been thanked and did some thanking.

It was actually something a member suggested on the forum and the site decided to implement. So the admin does actually read and consider suggestions left on here.

i personally never use it or see the point but other people enjoy it.

I like the added feature as well.  Many folks here are very helpful so I like it that we have an easy way to let them know we appreciate their posts.

I like the 'say thanks' tab.  I use it at times and keep up with the number of thanks I gave received from members for my posts.  One thing I know for sure is that whenever I get another thanks it brings a smile to my face.

I notice the "thanks" link all the time.

I always feel good when I see that I got another "thanks" because I do try to be helpful (well, most of the time except when I lose my temper).

I've been known to thank someone who made me laugh . . .

Yes it is a very nice thing... especially when someone really posts something important that helps you out.... and in general.... I used it a few times.... and to be honest was surprised to see I received some "thanks" too....
which means people do use this link... I love FC for all these little things... especially for the people in this forum!!!

I always liked that. I usually get thanked when I give advice to a question or comment on someones page. I look at my thank count once in a while and I see it go up

I also like the "say thanks" tab.  I only wish I could see what posts of mine people thanked me for.

That's a good idea.  It would be interesting to see which posts motivate people to say "thank you."  It might help in improving the quality of posts if people paid attention to what readers appreciate.

You could originally see that but it went away after the forum was updated
