We spent time with the family. had a good time and come home. But I got a $50.00 gift card from Amazon and it was burning a hole in my pocket so got on Amazon and bought me a new blender. It was a good buy. $137.00 and got it for $49.00. Love that Amazon Prime.  No shipping and 2 day delivery.   I have been needing a new one. Hubby bought me a new food processor for Christmas. So I am good to go again.

My most unique present was a DNA test kit to find out where my ancestors came from.  I think that will be most interesting.  Someone in my family has traced back my father's side to the late 1600's, but that's all I know.

 I had a fantastic time with friends and family. I did receive a new countertop grill  I can't wait to grill some more chicken and veggies for dinner tomorrow.

Best surprise ever.  My youngest was with us for Christmas.  First time since she was 2 weeks old.  I really really really dislike snow - but thanks to a steady snowfall traveling was nixed and we all got to be together Christmas morning.  For years I've wanted one of those humongous clocks - and this year I've got one - looks so good in our living room.  And another high light - I opened a box with a variety of Russian tips in it.  At least 50 of em.' I surrounded myself with em.
