Mario Batali has just been accused of groping women in his restaurant and tv show.  He has left the Chew daytime show and Food Network has pulled his show.  What’s going on lately, it seems like everyday you hear about another person being accused.

Finally, a lot of sick rich and famous people getting caught in the act now.

I don't understand these women, if it was so bad for them when these men did this stuff to them why, I ask why wait 10, 20 even 30 years later to come out with it now.  Can some one please make me understand this.  Because if it was done to me, I don't care who you were I would be yelling from the roof top.

Back in my younger days when a  man got fresh with you, we took care of it right away. The laws were not there yet to really protect us. That is why many men got slapped and taken care of  by our selves. Now it is a lot different. When my niece was being stalked, at work and at home  she came to me and I told her to take care of it now. Don't put it off. She went and  reported it. The man continued to do it. Now it  is going  to go to court and she has kept all of the messages he  sent her and  the court is now considering  how much they can charge the creep with. I don't understand  why they have waited so long.  If you can't  prove  it why put your self out there. You had better be able to prove it. But I think some are being paid for it.

I honestly do not believe all this. I don't know who this person is but it is all day every day all these women all of a sudden decide to say a man acted inappropriate. Being accused is the key word. But once their rep is destroyed they don't get it back. Why do they wait years to say anything? I don't believe any of them done anything they didn't want to do. They do what they do to get ahead of somebody else then get mad later and wanna cry r-a-p-e and that is not fair.

I agree.  I thought there was a statue of limitations.  Like with Cosby they were coming out of the wood work from 20 years ago.  They didn't do anything they didn't want to do. I mean come on, you live in a playboy house. They used him to get ahead. And tried to use him again to get money.

I never thought of that but you probably are right. About the being paid part.

It just seems to me that a lot of men are being accused of sexual advances that happened a long time ago.  If this was so bad for these women why wait this long to come forward.

Ppl with power feel there are no real consequences when you can use money,deals or threats. Women of power have done the same(Leona Helmsley and Stephanie Powers) both come to mind, but men and testosterone are a lethal mix when they have power and money.

This is happening in everywhere. It seems that like this is unstoppable. But I'm glad Roy Moore lost the Alabama senate as he failed to prove his innocence over sexual misconduct he was accused of.

I was surprised it was women who accused him because to me he seemed gay.

It is disgusting.

I hate hearing about it, but needs to be cleaned out.

However, women can be abusive also.  They can be vindictive.

I am an old woman, 74, and seen really mean women....the way they talk to men, treat them, and then some accuse to be vindictive, or out of spite. Wanting to sue.

The women are not necessarily innocent. Before judging, we must see the evidence.

I love that women are saying "ENOUGH !!!!"  My gender from our teens onward is filled with "guys guys" being aholes,trash talking,using and abusing women...The saying goes "Payback is a b***h" Many guys are guilty of some wrongdoing towards women but when it's abuse or harassment,threats and such then it's a whole different level. Worst I ever did was ignore the woman I loved and made her feel sad  because I was angry at myself for screwing up our relationship,so we're all guilty of something. Live and learn because all of life is a learning experience.
