I am almost finished with my Christmas shopping. I wanted to be done before December 1 and I am very close to being done. I love and hate Christmas shopping at the same time. Next year I may just do all gift cards.

Generally I would like to be done before Halloween.  I have gotten that done a few times but not this year.  I am done now though, before December 1st.

I am almost at thirty one posts! I was done Christmas shopping by October thirty first and am now just cruising towards a chaotic last thirty one days of the year. I have close out tomorrow for my day time job so I will be working at least sixteen hours (I am at forty two hours for the week right now with the day time job). I have close out for my second job at midnight on Saturday and should be at forty five hours by then. I'll be working for another three hours this evening and will easily slip into my four and a half hours of sleep...but there will be no nightmares about shopping disturbing my shuteye! I may order a few things online but will not lose sleep if they do not arrive on time. Seems like I run into a few things , here and there, right before the Holiday.

I have a couple more gifts to get. I have started wrapping.However, I have a lot of baking to do this month so I really don't feel like I am almost done yet.

That's great that you're already done with your Christmas shopping! That must be a load off your mind! I'm still trying to figure out what to get for my family's secret Santa presents for our extended family. I'm sure I'll be using Amazon, but I've got to get a line on what people like and want.

My mother used to be done with her Christmas shopping before December 1st, while I was still shopping on Christmas Eve (before marriage and children)!

Last year I was just about done at this point. My earnings have been down this year (new baby keeps me from having nearly as much time to earn), so I only have a couple of things purchased. Honestly, my teenager is the only difficult one to shop for.

I am going to start wrapping the gifts next week while the kids are away. I used to wait until right before Christmas to wrap the gifts but that was exhausting.
