Sick of being sick!

I am usually pretty healthy. Not these past couple months, at the beginning of Oct I ended up in the hospital with pneumonia. I was weak and miserable for weeks. Then started getting my energy back and feeling like myself again. That didn't last long I woke up last Friday and it felt like someone was sitting on my chest. So back to the ER. And back in the hospital with pneumonia. I'm home now and don't feel too bad but so afraid this thing will come back to get me again.

I am so sorry that you have been having health issues.  There is nothing worse than feeling crappy day after day.

Yikes, when I saw the title I was going to come in and complain about my 3mo+ cough but it seems you had it much worse!

Dress warmly and drink plenty of water!  I hope you feel better soon.

I know how you feel completely I suffer from fibro and SLE lupus  and days sometimes can be quite a struggle and any extra illness is just the worst

It's so sad when you are used to being healthy then all of a sudden you wind up sick and just can't get well.  I hope they find out what's going on.

Thanks everyone. I'm praying the DR gave me the right antibiotics this time to get rid of it. So far I'm starting to feel a little better, I just hope it continues.

The only way for me to heal myself from sickness is by fasting, drinking plenty of liquids and getting plenty of rest. I only believe in natural healing. I never take drugs or medication.

Sorry, about that, I'm wondering did you get your yearly flu shots? I guess it's kind of weird cause as a child to my early 20's every time I got my flu shots, at every time no fail I got sick! When I was legally old enough to refuse, I told my doctor every year NO on flu shots! Haven't gotten sick since! My thinking is, the body should develop antibiotics on it's own once in a while. When we overdose on too much meds helps virus's become immune to man made antibiotics & makes the flu shot useless. We'll become a society of ppl with no immunity, &will be no different than the boy in the bubble born with none! One suggestion, is after getting over illness, make sure you are completely over it or relapse will more likely happen!
