Charlie Rose accused

Every day when I see a male celebrity in the news I'm now hoping that they're dead because the other option is accusing of sexual misconduct.

Tonight, Charlie Rose is added to the list.  Really surprised at this one. Thoughts?

I can say, in all honesty, that I have never been (nor will I ever be) on a list linked to taking advantage of people. I have made mistakes but did all that I could to make sure that others benefitted from my mistakes. That being said, I would never put myself in the public eye for scrutiny because we all make mistakes. I love my family too much to have them associated with someone viewed in the mass media. I like privacy and I like my family to have a normal life. My only goal in life was to be married to a wonderful woman (whom I love and respect) and have two children that I can help achieve great heights. As long as I am healthy I will do all that I can to ensure their happiness. I do my best to not judge. Humans are weak and bound to make poor judgement calls.

I was more than surprised by the news about Mr. Rose's behavior.  I've watched his interviews for many years, however, I've not kept up with him in the last decade or so -- just see clips from his CBS morning show occasionally.  He's an intense and studied interviewer to me.  However, with all that he has seen/heard from interviews that place him in the mass media spotlight, you'd think he'd keep well enough alone.

I think this is a bunch of nonsense.  And no I don't believe when I see all these women accusing some celebrity of sexual misconduct. Kind of like Bill Cosby. NONE of them women were forced to do anything. You live in the playboy mansion and parade around half naked and you flirt with the men (aka Mr Cosby) trying to further your career.  And if they slept with him they done so of their own free will.  They were doing what they wanted to in order to try to get ahead.  Then they do this to try to get some money.  If you were raped why would you wait 20 plus years to say something? There is a statue of limitations anyway. I don't even read or pay attention to these types of stories any more.

I agree.  They accusers are out for money.  If you didn't say anything for 20 years then don't say anything now.  I am to the point where I don't believe it.  Yes sexual harassment does happen but if it is really happening and you don't want it to happen you don't work with the person for years and allow it to go on and go on and not say anything.

And a lot of women do things with men or cut up and dirty jokes and then get mad later and cry sexual assault or harassment or rape or whatever.  And that makes it hard on the ones that it really happens to because people tend to not believe them either.

Charlie Rose got the YOUR FIRED; he could of retired over 10 years ago, he should of lickitysplited out of there, took his money and ran.
