need some celebration ideas for our family

Today as of 1:00pm we are now free from our abusers!! we would like celebration ideas to celebrate our freedom from our abusers!! that we now never have to see them again. ideas?  yes we are serious!!

Throw a party.

Make an annual tradition - create time capsules.  Writing down goals for yourself for 1 year, 5 year etc... Each year open the capsules together to see how much you've progressed and how life is good.  Surround yourselves with good music - Order a cake for the occasion to be shared among friends.  Not just an ordinary cake - a CAKE that SCREAMS LOOK AT US --- or a bottle of wine if that's your thing----- or some super food smoothie whatever just make your tradition fun and personal.

I cannot recall what your abusers did, but remember you had to report them to the police.

Congrats on getting away!  Maybe something simple you can do every year to celebrate it as a tradition? Bake cookies together, see a movie...have a party?

So happy for you!  It’s finally over and you came out a winner.  The two of you should go out to a nice restaurant, order a good meal and enjoy the freedom.
