Would you rather forego giving gifts

I am somewhat split on this but I definitely know where you are coming from.  The Christmas season brings so much joy to so many people, but it also brings so much stress for so many people.  People feel bad they can't afford to buy better/more gifts.  And people spend more on gifts than they can afford and put themselves in a bad situation.

I wouldn't forgo gift giving. I love giving gifts. Just seeing the faces of the people you give the gift to is priceless

In the past I always loved giving gifts but not anymore.  Finances aren't there anymore.  I don't worry about.

That would be fine, and instead give to some needy children in the community which we do anyway but if we forgo personal gifts then we could do even more of that and I would be fine with it.

I agree of all companies give bonuses to their employees then every employee would want to work on a holiday
