home before dark
« on: November 09, 2017, 07:44:22 am »
now that it gets dark early, it makes a bit more sense to have the holiday celebrations during the day.
When senior relatives don't cook anymore, they go out to restaurants for their holiday meal.
I remember last year at my aunt and uncle's; we left before eating dessert.
It gets dark now before 6pm.
I am pretty sure that my aunt brought over a few dessert selections to my mom and dad's the day after the holiday.

I have not driven in the dark in over 5 years!   I used to be a night time person now i'm a day time ... funny how stuff can change!

I try not to drive after dark but occasionally have to.  My vision is not what it used to be after dark; lights bother me.  I've had to pull over and let someone else drive before in a big city with a lot of bright lights.
