There are so many opportunities to invest in so many different venues. The stock market has returned well over ten percent since the beginning of last century.Picked right, like Warren Buffet, pays back dividends that can be kept, spent or reinvested. Peer to peer lending doesn't appear to pay back less than five percent. Real estate has cyclical ups and downs-generally every seven years but typically comes back higher and leaves you with something to stand on. Invest in some lawn tools and get a handsome reward maintaining someone's lawn. Use your driveable investment and cart people or food around for Uber. Everything is an investment, even gifts, for me. I bought to investment accounts for my children and got a fifty dollar return to my account which matched the gift.

I would be watching too close for me saying what's it doing now, now and now Not peaceful for me, better than playing the lottery if you don't win it. If you want to invest without doing that and of course if investing is a good thing for you...because income from that is out there....sorry....but invest in those whole life insurances once the policy is paid for, there is income less stress and you have a secret account.   ::)

I live on a low income, but I've always wanted to start investing. I've seen my parents make/lose money on the stock market and it is something I've always been interested in. I found an app that is secure and trusted and will let you buy into a group of stocks for however much money you want to spend. I bought three stock groups for 15$. It was a lot of fun. I basically chose what I wanted and then forgot about it. The first year I made nothing so i sold what I had and chose three different ones. It's only been two months and I've had a 22% gain. Now, on 15$ that's not a lot, but it's how I'm learning before I get into the big money.  I think the main thing is to make sure you are using money that you will not need and to always ride out the lows.
