Cannot sleep
« on: October 22, 2017, 01:31:42 am »
I was sleeping, but now my brain is up and I cannot sleep.
I think I am worrying about a lot of things that are going on in my
home and work life.

Do you ever have these kind of mornings?

Sorry to hear that. Sometimes we stress over things that we cannot change. But I hope you take care of your problems.

I've been having that problem these past few days as well with sleeping. I'm usually pretty good at knocking myself out for the night.

I get those nights where stress from the day, or previous week, invades my dreams and eventually wakes me up for a few hours between one and three in the morning on weekends worrying about learning things that I would never use again. In school it would always happen around mid terms and finals. While working in restaurants, to pay for school, it would hit around Tuesday and Wednesday at the same time...chasing tables and meeting the demands of rude humans. These days I wake up at those times on Saturday nights as I reconstruct spreadsheets in my mind and come up with corrections that I can utilize on Monday. Sometimes I will talk in my sleep. My family didn't know that I have fluency in Spanish and they were shocked when I was speaking Spanish in my sleep!

I've been having the same problem. I have so much on my mind, and have such a difficult time falling asleep. By the time I finally fall asleep, I only have a few hours before I have to wake up.

I just got done with a rough week of very little sleep. Now I'm able to sleep again but I'm overly tired now. I slept a really long time already and I'm still sleepy.

I totally understand, I've been feeling this way all week. It's been a struggle to fight the anxiety and the fear of the future for me.

Yes I do and if that isn't bad enough besides stress now I am taking a new medicine that can keep you awake.  I hope things get resolved for you and you start having awesome nights sleep.

I never sleep well. My mind is always racing with so many thoughts. Doctor gave me something to help with that but I do not always take it. I prefer to just go to sleep when I am exhausted.
