We used to have an apple tree a few years ago.  It was so much fun to gather and eat those apples, but alas, the tree died.  I'm not sure what happened to it.  But then, we had a peach tree come up from a seed, just randomly.  We didn't plant it!  Some years it has lots of peaches, but somehow, they never develop into edible peaches.  I guess we need lessons on growing fruit trees.

I tried to plant apple seeds numerous times. Did not work at all. I am not even trying anymore.  :-\

I have no fruit trees but wish I knew how to keep them alive or free of disease.

I don't, but I wish I had my own garden. I live in an apartment building and there's just nowhere to really put it. If I did it outside my front door, I couldn't trust anything grown in it because my neighbors would tamper with it.

I would love to have an apple tree, although I know someone who has one, and they are not apples like at the store. Little and wormy at times. Maybe would not be quite what I'm thinking.

No I do not, but my friend does and it makes a mess all over the place, don't really want one after seeing that.

I bought a tree from a discount store a few years ago. Turned out it was an apple tree that produces tart green apples. I had apples until the squirrels found out and now every year they take a bite out of each apple and throw it on the ground. I really hate squirrels.  :sad1:

I had an apple tree in the back yard but cut it down a few years ago.  The deer would come and get a good meal and also eat the crab apples.  We had a lot of trees cut down because they would fall during storms.

I used to have an apple tree but the apples on it were pretty small and pitiful looking. I certainly never ate one. The tree finally died and we took it down. Apples are very good for you though and I usually eat one just about every day but they come from a Farmers Market.

We don't have apple trees but have fig bushes.  Which is great for some but I don't like figs lol.  Love apples and applesauce.  Wish we did have apple trees, would be great to have around.
