Central air
« on: September 23, 2017, 07:24:58 pm »
Do you use central air or fans at home? I use central air, but not all day.
I use my small fan on my nite stand every nite.  I do not use my dinning room
 fan or my large fans.

I use central air all year round. Only time I put fans on is if the weather cools down some. However, living down south we do not get much of a break from warm weather. There is only about 2 or 3 months of cold weather here.

Thankfully we do have central air in our home (Georgia). We run it a lot during the summer. We also have a window A/C unit to help with the humidity, as well as portable fans and ceiling fans. I'm a big wimp when it comes to heat and humidity!  :-[

after going through the hurricane and not having it, I appreciate it.
I always have anyway.
when you don't have it, it can be very very sticky.
it's difficult to sleep in the heat.
chew able medicine turns to powder.

we had window fans in the 1960's.
I was a kid.
I don't know how my parents managed.

We don't have central air, wish we did, but we do have window units and I run them all the time, well most of the time.  The humidity here can be unbearable and I love to sleep in a cool room.
