battery operated clocks
« on: September 09, 2017, 08:04:55 am »
I realize, now that I am preparing for the hurricane, that it's a good thing I have 2 battery operated clocks.
I have one projection clock that is electric.

My husband has a battery operated clock and a small tv that we use during storms and power outages.  It's a good way to keep informed of what's happening.

Battery operated can come in handy in the case you lose power.

I have always used a battery for my clock. Clocks with electrical cord just take up space in the electrical outlet. One battery for a clock lasts me quite a long time.

You should have a battery operated clock and a battery operated radio so you can keep updated with hats going on around during a storm

I still use a battery alarm clock.

It is an excellent idea to have a battery operated radio for emergencies to be able to stay informed.

It definitely isn't a bad idea especially with my power coming and going right now.  I'm honestly not worried about it though.  My phone will keep me straight.

I have a battery clock and also have my dad's portable radio that runs on a 9 volt battery.  Both have come in handy during snowstorms

I don't have a clock that runs on a battery... and I've been converted all the rooms to Alexa Echo Dots.
If we ever lose power for any length of time we are going to be SOL when the phones lose their charge (where most of us get the time from)

I wish we also had incorruptible outdoor equipment so that hurricanes couldn't keep doing serious damage.

Its always good to have something that can be run by battery even if its a clock or otherwise just incase of a storm hits
