Comfortable pillow
« on: August 31, 2017, 07:22:06 pm »
I need a very comfortable pillow that will lift head because I have GERD issues
and I have been told not to lay flat in the bed anymore.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I don't know what GERD is, but have you considered sleeping in a recliner? I did that once and bought one on Craigs List for $35 that I sold for $35 when I was finished with it.

Buy a wedge and then buy a good, comfortable support pillow that you like.  The wedge or back bolster will prop you up further then a pillow.  I have a bit of heartburn that has been gradually worsening the past year. I frequently use a wedge.  Also, make sure you do not eat or drink much at least two hours before lying down.  For myself, I can't eat for about three hours before lying down and if I eat after about 6p.m., I still tend to have issues.

I see that My Pillow commercial several times a day.  I dont know if that would help, but maybe you could ask someone if they have one and how they like it.

I saw them at Home Depot yesterday, but they are boxed up with no demo to show what they are like, so I passed.

I have the same problem, I can't lay down on flat pillows, my head has to be elevated.

Try masturbation. Sounds corny, but it can work.

I mostly just stack two pillows and it really helps out when I sleep.

My husband bought me a "My Pillow" and I like it because it stays puffy. I still use two pillows for my most comfortable position.

I can't sleep with my head too flat. I sleep with 2 pillows. It's the only way for me.
