Oh yeah. I am always ready for football season. Go niners. Of course I still have to make time for nascar as well

I sure am! I do all kinds of research online before every NFL game and picks winners and losers. So do my son-in-law and my brother. We have a running contest on who picks the most right each week. It is a lot of fun. Silly, but fun. We don't bet with money on it or anything, though.

Football season is such a big deal for the fans.  I follow the Tennessee Titans, but that's about it.  I like the girly stuff about football season, the feel in the air, the moves of the cheerleaders, the excitement of people watching, the recipes for tailgating and the all around emotions of winning and losing.  I hate seeing the players get hurt on the field.

Forgive my 'assumptions' - as an OSU fan I'm going to assume that you are in Ohio (not an absolute certainty, but probably more likely than not).  When your hometown NFL choices are Cleveland and Cincinnati, it's not hard to see why NCAA football is more of a draw than NFL football! 
 


Bengals have improved, but still can't get over that hump in the first round of the playoffs. Browns actually looked very good against my Steelers on Sunday. Maybe they've finally found their QB?


Irony = with his win on Sunday, Ben Roethlisberger has now won more games as a starting QB in Cleve Browns stadium than ANY Cleveland Brown QB! (Ben plays there once each year and Cleve QBs play there 8 times). Because there have been SO MANY different starting QBs for Browns and so many losses - this weird bit of football trivia has occurred.
