Surgical Staples

How badly does it hurt to have surgical staples removed? I have over 50 staples in my left foot due to surgery. I'm ready to have these out, but a little chicken about the pain.

My husband just had a hernia surgery about a  month ago.  Had about 8 staples and they were removed a week after surgery.  I was expecting him, being the big baby he is with medical things, to come out all pale and white from the appt. but he actually came out telling me they didn't hurt at all.

I was in shock haha knowing him, and he was in general pain from the surgery still when he had them removed.  Apparently, them being pulled out isn't too bad at all.

Don't worry, go ahead and do it. It don't hurt at all.  I have had lots of experience with this between myselg and my kids.  I am always scared too, I hate that kind of stuff, buth this actually didn't hurt and they did it real fast, over before I could say ouch!

when i was a baby i had surgery and had surgical staples, im 21 now and i still have some scars from the staples but other than that im sure they give something for the pain

the shot hurts worse then them taking them out belive me the numb it and then take it out that is what they did to me any ways
