What is your favorite color and why?

My favorite color is purple.  I’m literally addicted to it.  I’ve got purple pens, pencils, pencils holders, notebooks, hairbands, nail polish, clothes, desk lamps, hair brushes, purses, wallets, shoes etc.  Every time I see something purple it’s like I have to have it.  I don’t know, maybe I’m crazy but I like the color because it makes me feel comfortable and safe.  It’s like I’m in a sanitary or at home when I wear it or have something of the color with me.

Maroon is my favorite color. I'm not sure why but I am drawn to the deep rich color.

I have three favorite colors: Green, black and gold. I used to read every book on money, what attracts it, how to make more, how to invest it, how to avoid losing it, etc. One of the books that I read, title unremembered, was more of a philosophical look at money mixed with some Chinese ideology and notions of Feng Shui. This book advised that the colors (green, black, gold) attracted financial harmony, attracted prosperity and maintained focus on wealth. I used to work at night, well after everyone went to sleep, to the light given off by a green candle, gold candle and black candle. It became part of a peaceful routine, much like coffee's reward in the morning, and (I believe) helped my focus to center on investments which ultimately helped me forge ahead in the financial arena.

I love bluuuuuuuue. Favorite color since I was 5. I am 74.

I like shades that have blue in them, like deep green of the blue spruce tree, or deep blue-green.

Indigo and navy blue relax me.  Lighter blues refresh me.

Supposedly, it is a color of thinkers etc.

My favorite is purple, because it's the perfect in-between color. If you're not exactly a fan of pink or blue, purple is the perfect shade...I also like it because it's calming and royal.

I have always gravitated towards green. I don't really know why but it just calms me.

Ever since I was little my favorite color has been red. Not sure why - maybe because my birth stone is ruby.

I like the color black because it looks good on me and you can wear it with anything. That's why I wear this all the time. I even have a little black in my hair and makeup. This is my favorite color.

My favorite color is blue. I like all shades of blue. I can't tell you why. All I can say is I have loves the color blue for as long as I can remember.
