we didn't have specific things, but just helped out in general

We had chores as kids....in the house, the girls did the dishes after meals and we cleaned the house every Saturday morning.

Outside, my sister and I had to fill the manger in front of the stantions in the milking barn and we had to wash the milkers and bulk tank.

We all helped with picking up rock, chopping thistles, walking beans, mowing, baling hay etc.

I had plenty of chores when I was a child. My parents thought it was a good idea to keep use out of trouble. My parents didn't let use go anywhere until our chores were done.

I had chores as a child but I was always paid for the chores that I did. I like earning money and it was a good motivator I would do extra chores to make more money if my sisters and brothers didn't do theirs but now I struggle to keep my own place clean.

Ugh! I do great out on the job.

But that maybe part of the problem too I do so much cleaning for work that when I get home I really want no part.
