Chores, Chores, and chores are great to learn at home so you and I can see the beauty of hard work. If you have a nice beautiful home, that means there are people who lived there who appreciate the hard work been done to make it look that way!

I try and take care of the house on top of taking care of my Mom with dementia.

Right, but some people prefer to be lazy and leave their homes messy.

Being the first born, I had chores on top of chores.  It really pissed me off.

I really can't stand doing chores. I would rather hire someone to do them for  me. :bad:

Yeah. The kids had household chores. Then my mother made us help her in the garden.  I hated that.  Now I have a big garden of my own, and love it.  Interesting outcome.

We had chores also  Mom and Dad both worked full time so we had to pitch in.  I did the same with my kids and they were glad when they moved out that they knew how to cook and do laundry.

I think that is a word lots of people (young) don't comprehend. I haven't heard that in a long time. But I do agree that others need to do this so they can respect what they have in the future.
