Thanks guys! :) :D

From reading all of your comments it seem it all depends on how healthy my body is and a matter of readiness. Before me and my boyfreind make any irreversible decisions I'm going to make sure this is really what I want first. The last thing I want is my children to suffer from my unplan decision. Perhaps when I decide to have a child I will post an update to keep you all in the  know, thanks for your help.

I'm 47 and I have 2 sons.... 23 & 14.
I always wanted daughter as well... but thanks to my ex and a very nasty divorce, that will never happen.

My sister gave birth to a healthy baby girl at 44. I can't speak for everyone but I couldn't imagine life without my children. It kind of sucks that they're older now, I could spend every waking moment with the little ones. Goes with the territory of course.

I think as long as you discuss with your doctor and they say it is okay it is not too late.  People are waiting later in life to have children these days.

Hello! :D :)

I will definitely check with my doctor to make sure I'm healthy as well. I want a strong healthy baby so that they can have a promising life.  :highfive: :angel11: :rose:  :female: :male: :crybaby2:

I feel If you have kids at close to 50/or 60, you really need to give your kid a whole life insurance account this will at least give them a account for money making. I feel you need to give the kid an entire education or a house that is paid off and some kind of transportation for all of it's life, only fair because your kid is going to be alone for a little longer than you think. Good luck for both of you. Cutie there you have.

My hubby's mother was 47 when she had him and she was one miserable mother. She complained to him and about him all the time. He cramped her "style."  It made me sad when he told me about his childhood. I just can't imagine a mother being like that...yet when he gave her a grandson, she was the direct opposite. The sun and the moon revolved around her grandson and he could do no wrong. I think it hurt my hubby even more.

Hello! :)

Wow how unfortunate the child never asked to be born, I would never be that kind of a mother. :angry7: :bs: My own mother said she wish she didn't have us in a fit of rage. :angry7: I think the reason that she loves her grandson to pieces is because it is not her child and she gets to give him back at the end of the day. :rose: :angel11:

It depends on what you mean.  Physically it depends on the body (basically of the woman since Anthony Quinn had kids through his 70's).  Some can have kids until their 40.  Other's can't have any at all.  If you adopt, then age I don't think matters.  'Experts' claim the female eggs start to deplete in number around age 45 making it harder for any female that age or above to get pregnant.  If you physically want to have kids then it's any age before your body goes through menopause because once you hit menopause, your body basically through with eggs.
