We eat turkey for Thanksgiving and we ususally have a potluck fo christmas.  Last year we had Italian Lasagna, German potatoe salad, and about 5 other dishes I can't remember.  I think we even had some ham too.  it is great because we usually have 2 Christmas's, one with my mom's brother's and sister's the first weekend in December.  We have about 40 + people there.  And the second one is Christmas eve at my sisters with her in-law family and our immediate family, about 40+ people there too.  Love it lots.

I usually alternate between the two.  I cooked a turkey for Thanksgiving and a ham for Christmas last year so this year I will do the opposite.

We eat turkey for Thanksgiving and we ususally have a potluck fo christmas.  Last year we had Italian Lasagna, German potatoe salad, and about 5 other dishes I can't remember.

I actually like this idea.  I would like to cook a variety of things for one of these events, rather than the usual things.  You sometimes want something different instead of the 'traditional' or expected meals. I may have to steal this idea. ;)

neither. I can not remember the last big christmas dinner but i think it was turkey. Usually we just do a bunch of snack foods for christmas. Little part trays, veggies, fruits and of  course christmas treats. We don't really go out to much for christmas things are already kinda hectic but if i had to pick one for christmas it would probably be ham since thanksgiving is turkey and after left overs it might get a little tiring

My husband doesn't really like ham so I usually cook a turkey, however my FIL works at Tyson's so he brings a ham too!

I'm always a little disappointed with our Christmas meal(s). Thanksgiving is awesome, but my family doesn't go all out for a Christmas meal. Gifts, yes, but the meal? Sadly, no. Oh to answer the question, we have ham on Christmas.
