Country singer Glen Campbell dead at 81

Country singer Glen Campbell has died following Alzheimer's Disease.  He was 81.  Please share your thoughts on his passing.

We just heard that sad news!  I always liked Glen Campbell and his music.  He wrote and sang so many good songs.  He was really something else on TV too.  I loved watching his show.  Sad day!

Yes, it is a sad day indeed. He will certainly be missed. I loved his voice and he was a tremendously talented songwriter as well.

I remember listening to him with my grandmother. Think this was first taste of country music I encountered and still love it.

i grew up with Glenn Campbell and loved all his music.  Was so sad to hear of his passing,,  even tho I know this day was coming.  He was a great man and singer.  Will Miss him   prayers to his family

I saw Glenn Campbell in concert several times when I was young.  He put on a good show.
