Yes the scandal you mention did get all over the news a few months ago but there have been several since. I saw one just yesterday about Wells Fargo also charging their customers with car loans for additional loans without the customer's knowledge. One guy reported having his car repossessed because he hadn't made any payments on a loan at Wells Fargo he knew absolutely nothing about!
