Well Fargo Bank under review

Hi to everyone!

I was wondering if anyone heard or saw anything about WellsFargo bank?
I know that they havent been on the news for awhile. The last thing i heard was they had employees opening accounts without people permission just so the employees could make their sales quote and keep there jobs.

I've taken surveys in the past that addressed that news by asking what you may have heard or read.  Then you were asked to watch a commercial and answer follow-up questions.

I saw another scandal about them the other day.

I only way I take notice if it's my Bank.  As for Wells Fargo, haven't heard anything.

Wasn't this several years ago?  I didn't think it was Wells Fargo though.  I know we have at least one local bank that the employees have to open at least a certain number of new accounts every month or they get fired.  Which explains why they have such a huge turn over rate.  And also why people do illegal things like opening fake accounts.  I use to work at Lowe's and if we didn't get a certain percentage of scans on the My Lowe's card or sell so many warranties you would get wrote up.  We all had a dummy My Lowe's card and scanned that.  As far as the warranties I flat out told the manager YOU CANNOT MAKE PEOPLE BUY and extended warranty.  They told me I was wrong.  I just wasn't trying hard enough.

We pulled our money out of them years ago, because they went back on a contract.  So we paid them off and  took our business to another bank and I will never go back to them. I wish I could get my father to do the same thing . He is still fighting them on some personal  business, that should have already been cleared up.

Something new is in the news about Wells Fargo and it is one of my banks but I always check my accounts and everything is fine so far.

My girlfriend has Wells Fargo and she told me about that. She said they took money out of her account that they should not have a couple of times.

Some years ago, my father was relating to me that he was having issues balancing his bank accounts.  This is a guy who has always been very good with numbers. He mentioned something about a 'Sweep Account', where money from one of his accounts was transferred or swept into another account.  To the best of my knowledge, the numbers were the same, they were just moved to another account. 

My husband also had something peculiar going on with his accounts as well.

This, of course, happened without his consent.  I suggested that he talk to someone in the branch.

I'm patiently waiting for a settlement from the lawsuit to be deposited into my parent's and my husband's account.  LOL

Wouldn't that be nice?!   

I will not hold my breath on that.

I have not heard anything negative in awhile, they had done something to my daughters account and then fixed several thing they had done.

I haven't heard anything about Wells Fargo, in the past or now.
